Sandoval Academy of Bilingual Education is proud to announce that we will launch our pre-K program in the 2025–2026 school year—SABE Niños!

We have a limited number of spaces in our 4-year-old Pre-K classroom. First preference will be offered to SABE families and staff.  We then will hold a lottery for the available spaces.

Your child must turn four years old by August 30, 2021, and be going to kindergarten the following school year. Birthdates will be verified with official documentation. Completing an application does not guarantee enrollment. Slots are offered based on the lottery. If a child is chosen through the lottery, the parent or guardian will be contacted with instructions on how to register the child. Parents are required to respond via telephone within 72 hours or their forfeit their spot.  Students are randomly selected, and preference will not be given to first come first serve applications.

SABE Niños will provide a high-quality program with a certified teacher and educational assistant. Students will be provided opportunities to acquire academic, language, motor and social skills. We strive to support our youngest owls in an inclusive environment among all children. Students attending SABE Niños will attend a full day program, five days a week. The session sessions are from 8:00 AM to 2:45 PM. We have early release on Wednesdays to provide teachers the opportunity for preparation, planning, and professional development.

Regular attendance is imperative for children to make progress, gain new skills, and to get the most from their pre-K experience. For your child to receive the full benefits of the program, it’s expected your child will attend at a minimum of 95% of the time. If children become ill, it is required of the parents to contact the school to report  the absence.

We are in the process of developing our SABE Niños handbook, which will include the rules, regulations and policies for the program. To ensure the safety of our children, families and staff and maintain a high quality program, you are asked to read and follow the guidelines of the SABE Niños Handbook, once it is available.

Please note, upon acceptance to the program, families are required to present

• an original birth certificate will need to be presented and information will be documented from our staff for the school records
• immunization records for your child. Children not having required immunizations will need to provide proof of immunization prior to the first day of school]

If you do not have these documents completed within the timeframe required, you relinquish your spot for students on the waitlist.
